Riu Atoll

A large-scale all-inclusive resort in Dhaalu Atoll, set on a private island connected to its sister property via a walkway over the lagoon, offering a high-volume, activity-led Maldives stay with strong value positioning. Accommodation is in overwater junior suites and beach rooms, with the overwater category delivering the strongest appeal for direct lagoon access and sea views. The island is designed for ease and variety, with multiple dining venues including buffet and à la carte options, several bars including swim-up service, and 24-hour all-inclusive access. Facilities are extensive for the Maldives, including a main pool with sea views, a separate children’s pool, spa, gym, watersports centre, and a PADI dive school. The atmosphere is lively, social, and informal rather than secluded or exclusive. Service is efficient and geared towards high occupancy. Best for couples, families, and groups seeking a straightforward, good-value Maldives stay with strong facilities, easy logistics, and a more resort-style rather than ultra-private island experience.
