Hotel Riu Palace Maldives

Private island resort in Dhaalu Atoll forming part of a two-island Riu development, offering a contemporary, all-inclusive Maldives stay with a strong focus on ease, facilities, and value. Accommodation is split between beach villas and overwater suites, with the overwater categories delivering the strongest appeal for direct lagoon access and uninterrupted sea views. The island is well structured and social in feel, with multiple dining venues, several bars including swim-up service, a large main pool, spa, fitness centre, watersports hub, and dive centre supporting an active, resort-style experience. The atmosphere is lively and informal rather than secluded, with shared facilities across the neighbouring island via walkway adding variety. Service is efficient and geared towards high occupancy. Best for couples and families seeking a straightforward Maldives stay with strong facilities, good snorkelling access, and a more accessible, resort-driven alternative to ultra-private island retreats.
